My mom lives in Crossville, Tennessee, but she has always said the best colors are over in Sevierville. Can you say Smoky Mountains? We didn't know fall foliage was so close to mom's. You can easily take any of the main highways from Kentucky and Virginia and see beauty as you roll into this neck of the woods. It's non-stop when it starts. This year expect autumn color leaves changing to happen now to mid November. It's a little late this year because of the warm air. Tennessee has also suffered a lack of rain and this will cause the leaves to start changing later.
